Water Sports
Big Crawling Stone Lake is great for fishing, water skiing and silent sports. We have 150 feet of sandy frontage with a private pier. There are boat rentals at several marinas on the chain or there is a public boat launch nearby, if you have your own boat. Our lakes are known for trophy Muskie, walleye, bass and pan fish. The lakes are crystal clear with mostly sandy bottom. The chain features very large lakes (3000 acres) and small wilderness lakes (great for paddling). We supply a 5 person paddle boat and canoe for your use at no extra charge. Jet skiing is allowed on our lake and there are several places to rent them in the area.

Shopping
We are 10 minutes from Minocqua - one of the area's largest shopping areas with many unique shops, restaurants and recreational parks (including tennis courts). We are also 3 miles from LacDuFlambeau which features some Native American shops along with a very interesting cultural center. There are large grocery stores in Minocqua and a small market in LacDuFlambeau.

Other Sports
We are surrounded by several National and State Forests which provide beautiful hiking and off road biking trails, along with some paved bike trails nearby. There are also many other lakes and rivers to explore by boat, canoe or kayak.

Golf - There are several challenging golf courses in the area.

Bring your snorkel gear - our lake is so clear, you can snorkel right from the pier.

Other Activities
There is a bookcase full of books that you are welcome to borrow along with indoor and outdoor games for your use. We have a private outdoor firepit for your use. Picnic tables and patio/lawn chairs are also available.

Minocqua offers many other vacation opportunities including mini-golf, go carting, horseback riding, lumber jack shows, outdoor theatres and various special celebrations throughout the year.
